Douglas Alan Warner, age 57, of Laingsburg, MI passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 12:00 P.M. Chaplain Beverly Adcock will officiate. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Owosso, MI. Visitation will be held on Friday July 23, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Douglas was born in St. Johns, Michigan on May 16, 1953, the son of Donald and Jennie (Lahmann) Warner. Douglas resided most of his life in the Laingsburg area and was a graduate of Ovid-Elsie High School. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and anything outdoors. Douglas worked for Georgia-Pacific in Owosso for 17 years.
Douglas is survived by his girlfriend, Gina Jones of Owosso, daughter Bethany and Jeremy Walker of Zephyrhills, FL, sons; Kevin Warner of Laingsburg, MI, Curt and Trisha Warner of Owosso, MI, Brian Warner of Laingsburg, MI, adopted son Daniel Warner of Ovid, MI, grandchildren; Broden Reidsema, Jeremy Walker II, Bretlyn Warner and Curt Edward Warner, brothers; Ronald and Mary Warner of Owosso, MI, and Robert and Susan Warner of Laingsburg, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents.
